Today our boys proudly represented the school at the Tyrone Cumann na mBunscol football heats, and what a day it proved to be.
Drawn in a very competitive group, the boys rose to the challenge and finished unbeaten, securing impressive victories over Galbally and Cookstown. Topping the group meant a direct place in the semi-finals — a fantastic achievement in itself.
In the semi-final, the boys faced a strong Donaghmore side. Showing great determination and composure, they kept their heads down, battled hard, and emerged as convincing winners to book their place in the final.
The final brought a rematch against Galbally, and what a battle it was. At one stage, it looked as though the boys might leave disappointed. However, true to the strong Ardboe spirit, they regrouped, dug deep, and showed tremendous resilience to edge ahead and claim victory by the narrowest of margins.
We are incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork, and character shown throughout the day. Well done, boys!
We now look forward with excitement to the Tyrone County Finals Day, where the boys will once again represent our school with pride.
