Number Ninjas in Primary Three! 🔢
Primary Three have been busy working hard on a variety of mental maths topics in class.
They have been creating shopping lists using money amounts up to £5.00, helping them practise recognising coins and adding totals while thinking about real-life spending. 🛒
The children have also been very engaged in completing addition sums with regrouping. ➕
We have been working hard on telling the time too, learning to read five past and ten past times on the clock.
We have been learning how to share items into quarters and cutting up food items into 4 equal parts.
Finally, the children used assistive technology to help measure the lengths of different items in centimetres (cm), developing their measuring and comparing skills.
It has been wonderful to see Primary Three showing such enthusiasm and confidence as they continue to build their maths skills. 📏🔢
