🎉 Maths Week Ireland is Here! Let the Numbers Adventure Begin! 🔢

8th Oct 2025

Monday 13th - Friday 18th October

This week, we’re excited to celebrate Maths Week Ireland here at St. Patrick’s, with lots of fun, hands-on numeracy activities happening in school and at home!

🧠 What’s Happening in School?

Throughout the week, children at St. Patrick’s will be taking part in practical numeracy activities designed to make maths engaging, meaningful and fun. From puzzles and problem-solving challenges to measuring, counting, and exploring patterns, our students will see just how much maths is part of everyday life.

These activities are all about building confidence and encouraging curiosity – showing that maths is not just about numbers on a page, but something we use all around us!

🏡 Take the Fun Home – Complete Your Maths Trail with Your Family!

We’ve also created a special Maths Trail for children to complete at home with their families for homework this week. This is a great way to continue the maths fun outside of school – whether you’re spotting shapes around the house, measuring objects, or hunting for numbers in everyday places.

Be sure to complete the trail together with your family and share your photos and stories with your teacher. We’d love to hear about your favourite parts of the trail and any fun discoveries you make along the way!

Let’s make this Maths Week at St. Patrick’s full of fun, learning and maths adventures – both in school and at home!
