Today, our Primary 2 artists stepped into the world of still life drawing! After exploring the beautiful works of famous artists such as Vincent van Gogh and Paul Cézanne, the children created their very own interpretations of a classic fruit bowl.
The class spent time observing shapes, shadows, and textures before sketching their unique compositions. Once their drawings were complete, they experimented with oil pastels—blending colours, adding highlights, and bringing their fruit bowls to life with vibrant detail.
It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they explored new techniques and expressed themselves creatively. The room was filled with focus, excitement, and a whole lot of colour!
