Primary Three – Road Safety Week Learning
This week, our Primary Three children have been busy learning all about keeping safe as part of Road Safety Week in Northern Ireland. Road Safety Week is an annual campaign that raises awareness of how we can all help make our roads safer. Across Northern Ireland, schools and community groups take part by exploring important topics such as being seen in the dark, using crossings safely, wearing seatbelts, and understanding how everyone—drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians—can share the roads responsibly.
Our Primary Three pupils have enjoyed taking part in discussions, activities, and stories that help them understand how to stay safe when out and about. To finish off the week, they came together to create a special video for the whole school, showing practical ways we can all keep safe during the darker winter days in November and December.
