Today our gardening club enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a sunflower and some interesting facts about them. 🌻 💛
They were very shocked to learn that the tallest sunflower 🌻 ever recorded was over 30 feet 1 inch tall, grown by Hans -Peter-Schiffer in Germany in 2014!!
Our P4 children done a great job labelling the parts of a sunflower before we set off to plant our own sunflower seeds.
We enjoyed the beautiful sunshine ☀️ while planting together and can't wait to see their first shoots in the next week or two! 😊😊
