At Saint Patrick’s, we are very excited to welcome the children back after the summer holidays and look forward to another wonderful year of learning together.
We know that while many children are excited to return, some may feel a little nervous or anxious. Signs that a child may be feeling nervous can include:
- 😴 Difficulty sleeping the night before school.
- 🤒 Complaining of stomach aches or feeling unwell.
- 😟 Showing reluctance to leave home in the morning.
Our staff are very aware that some children may feel this way and will be on hand to offer reassurance and support.
By working together – child, home, and school – we can ensure that every child feels cared for and supported as they settle back into school life.
