Primary Three had a fantastic outdoor PE lesson this week using the colourful rainbow parachute. In the warm spring sunshine, the children worked together to play a variety of fun and active games. They practised listening carefully to instructions, cooperating with their friends and coordinating their movements as they lifted, lowered and shook the parachute to create different challenges.
The parachute games encouraged teamwork, communication and lots of laughter as the children tried to keep balls bouncing on the parachute, swapped places underneath it and created giant waves
Outdoor play gives children the opportunity to develop important social skills such as teamwork, problem-solving and communication while exploring and learning in a fun environment.
Primary Three had an amazing time, and we are looking forward to many more outdoor learning opportunities as the spring term continues. 🌈☀️
