Primary 1 have settled in brilliantly to school life. They have squeezed a lot into their first month of school from having a tour of the whole school and meeting some of the staff to going on a phonics hunt for objects beginning with the ‘a’ sound. In Numeracy, the children have been focusing on sorting objects. Miss Brannigan made a big mess with all the animals and it was up to the P1 children to sort them into their groups by working together as a team. I am amazed at the language the boys and girls have been displaying whilst working together. Well done!
