What a fabulous morning we had in Primary Three making Saint Brigid's Crosses with our parents and grandparents.
Making Saint Brigid's crosses with rushes provides a tangible way to connect children with nature. By using rushes, a readily available natural resource, children learn about resourcefulness and the interconnectedness of activities and the environment
The children will never forget this very special time. Thank you to everyone who brought in rushes and helped to make the crosses with the children. It was lovely to see Fr.Gerry and he very kindly blessed all the crosses for the children to take home.
