Reminder - P7 Cake and Bun Sale Primary 7 ‘Cake and Bun Sale’ on Friday 24th April 2026.   Open to all classes P1 to P7.  Child brings in money they will get the opportunity to pick a few things they like.   They can then have if for their break or if they bring in a box they can take it home.    Sale open to parents and grandparents and other family members in the morning, 8.45 to 9.20 am.Adults can then call into the school hall and buy a selection of sweet treats to take home with them.   [Open Image]

💕 Saint Valentine lived a long long time ago when Claudius II was the ruler of Rome. Claudius II did not like his soldiers getting married. 💕

Claudius II thought having soldiers for his wars was so important that he made a law that people couldn’t get married. Claudius II thought that if young boys got married and had families they would not want to go off and fight in his wars.

💕 Saint Valentine, had the special job of being God’s helper during this time. He was a priest, so he would marry the men and women who wanted to get married in secret. This is why he is called the patron saint of 💕 love and marriage.
