🍃 An Eco Committee Meeting with Friends of Mullinahoe and Our Governor Rep
Eco Committee Meeting Report
Today, the Eco Committee were delighted to welcome Mrs O’Hagan, who kindly agreed to meet with them to discuss Eco projects planned for 2026. During the meeting, the committee asked Mrs O’Hagan to suggest any new resources that the school may require for the outdoor classroom. Mrs O’Hagan shared her vision for the development of the existing outdoor space, as well as plans for creating a new area dedicated to sensory play. Committee members carefully recorded her responses in preparation for their upcoming meeting with Friends of Mullinahoe.
Later, the Eco Committee held a second meeting with Friends of Mullinahoe. The chairman, Joseph, introduced himself and the other committee members before outlining the projects planned for this term. The committee also sought support from the parent group to help fund some of these initiatives. It was a positive and open meeting, with many constructive ideas shared between both groups.
We would like to sincerely thank Mrs O’Hagan and Friends of Mullinahoe for their continued support. It was a wonderful learning experience for our children and a very encouraging step forward for our Eco projects.
