We are thrilled to announce that Ardboe Credit Union has donated £1000 to support our Accelerated Reader programme. This generous contribution will allow us to purchase new books and resources that will benefit pupils across the school.
The Credit Union is a cornerstone of our local community and plays an important role in the lives of many of our families. We are proud that so many of our pupils have their own savings accounts and are learning the value of financial responsibility from a young age. Through regular saving, they are developing habits that will serve them well throughout life.
Ardboe Credit Union has supported our Accelerated Reader programme for several years, and their continued investment in literacy is deeply appreciated.
What is Accelerated Reader?
Accelerated Reader is a powerful tool that helps pupils become confident, independent readers. It works by:
- Encouraging regular reading: Pupils choose books at their reading level and complete quizzes to check comprehension.
- Tracking progress: Teachers can monitor reading growth and tailor support to individual needs.
