Bertie Foley Cup 2026 🏆 – A Fantastic Day of Football
Today we were delighted to host the Bertie Foley Cup, and what a wonderful day it turned out to be!
Although the morning began with some less-than-ideal weather, conditions soon improved. The clouds cleared, the sun shone brightly, and the afternoon games were played in fantastic conditions—creating a brilliant atmosphere for all involved.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the teams who attended and helped make the day such a success: St. Peter's Moortown, St. Canice's Dungiven, Kingsisland, Laghey PS, Ballylifford, St. Trea's Ballymaguigan, Derrychrin, and Holy Family Magherafelt. Your enthusiasm, effort, and sportsmanship were a credit to your schools.
Football was played in the very best spirit throughout the day, with teamwork, respect, and fair play evident in every match. The standard of play was exceptional, with a fantastic display of talent and skill—making it a joy to watch so many exciting and competitive games.
