The boys and girls have been busy working away super hard this week on our topic of “Winter, snow and ice”. Through our shared read The Snowman by Raymond Briggs, we have been working on developing our inference skills in Literacy by interpreting the story, emotions and actions through wordless storytelling. We have been busy during PBL making life sized Jolly Snowmen and in WAU we have been carrying out melting experiments. Just as the Snowman melts in our story, we wanted to carry out our own predictions about things that melt and don’t melt and the best conditions for this. We have also been busy in Numeracy and have especially enjoyed becoming “The Teacher” and quizzing our friends on our number facts. Well done boys and girls. Keep up the great work. 🤗
