C2k NewsDesk is a pupil friendly digital literacy resource which provides topical news stories and fun activities. It is available to all pupils and teachers in Northern Ireland.
C2k NewsDesk is a great resource for children to find age appropriate news stories to keep them up to date with what is going on in the world. Stories range from the cutest animals to reports on famous authors. They even have some fun activities and competitions for children.
After break, the children in P3 sit together to read the most recent stories on the C2K NewsDesk. They loved finding out about the Titanic and this inspired the children to create their own display for the corridor. Aidan enjoyed the story so much, that he went with his family to visit the Titanic Museum in Belfast. He then shared his experience with his friends and showed them the lovely resources he purchased at the exhibition.
