Easter Egg Design & Rolling Competition 🐣 Please boil an egg at home and decorate it with your own design. It can be any theme — not just Easter. You might choose sports, family, television, books, or anything else you enjoy. You can use paints or markers to decorate your egg. Remember to add your name (or initials) and your class so the eggs don’t get mixed up. Bring your decorated egg into school on Tuesday 31st of March. Please wrap your egg carefully when bringing it into school and class teachers will safely store all the eggs until Wednesday 1st of April. On Wednesday 1st of April, we will help judge the winners in each class and also see which eggs roll best! Of course there will be other fun Easter activities along the way, maybe even a little Easter treat! [Open Image]

Primary 4/5 have been working incredibly hard this week to develop their understanding of area!😃

Primary 4 explored calculating the area of shapes using cubes and counters, while Primary 5 tackled irregular shapes, squares, and rectangles before moving on to compound shapes.

Working in groups, we used hands-on approaches to visually calculate the area of different shapes, developing not only our maths skills but also our teamwork and collaboration.
