National Poetry Day is celebrated on the first Thursday of October.
It encourages everyone to make, experience and share poetry with family and friends. The children celebrated the day by working together to recite an autumn poem. Some of the children in school celebrated National Poetry Day by creating their own poems. Hayleigh from P6, kindly read 3 of her poems to the class. She has definitely got a talent for poetry writing.
We are looking forward to writing our own poems in P3 tomorrow.
