Christmas Jumper Swap
The Eco Committee were very busy this week as they organised a fantastic Christmas Jumper Swap for Key Stage One. They designed a bright, eye‑catching poster and even delivered a confident talk to all the Key Stage Two classes to explain how the event would work.
The Eco Committee collected lots of jumpers that were too small and knew they would be perfect for recycling. Recycling Christmas jumpers is a great way to help our environment because it reduces waste, saves resources, and gives clothing a brand‑new life. It is also lots of fun, as children get to choose something “new to them” without buying anything extra.
The boys and girls in Key Stage One were absolutely delighted with the Christmas Jumper Swap and enjoyed trying on lots of wonderful jumpers before putting on a fun-filled fashion show to show off their festive outfits. A big thank you to Jessica from the Eco Committee, who kindly compered the fashion show for us.
