Cross Country League – Event 2 at Lurgan Park
Our Primary 5–Primary 7 pupils were back in action today at Event 2 of the Cross Country League in the beautiful surroundings of Lurgan Park. It was brilliant to watch the standard and the level our runners are now competing at. Every child showed real determination and pride as they tackled the course.
Although the sun was shining, the course itself was mucky and heavy underfoot, adding an extra challenge for the runners. Despite this, our pupils rose to the occasion, pushing themselves right to the finish and supporting one another throughout. The strong finishes and teamwork on display were fantastic to see.
A huge well done to all our runners for their commitment and positive attitude. They continue to make our school extremely proud. Thank you to the staff and families who came along to support—your encouragement means so much.
We now take a short break over Christmas before returning for Event 3 in Armagh in January, where our pupils will compete in the final stage of the series. We look forward to seeing them back in action and continuing their cross-country journey.
