Primary Three have been extremely busy developing their ICT skills this term! The children have been exploring the Just Too Easy app to create beautiful digital pictures linked to Christmas.
Through this activity, they learned how to navigate through the app’s tools and menus and practiced using a mouse with precision to draw and design their festive creations. Working in pairs, pupils evaluated each other’s work, highlighting their favourite part and identifying one area for improvement.
This task strongly supports the Five ‘E’s of the Northern Ireland ICT curriculum:
- Explore – by investigating the features of the app;
- Express – through creating original Christmas-themed artwork;
- Exchange – by sharing ideas and feedback with their partners;
- Evaluate – when reflecting on their own and others’ work;
Exhibit – by presenting their finished digital pictures to the class
