Easter Activities in P6/7!
Primary 6/7 have been very busy over the past few weeks! In Literacy, the children have been learning about the difference between informal and formal letter writing and have been composing their own letters. All pupils produced detailed and interesting pieces of writing, presented with excellent handwriting—well done everyone!
In Religion, the pupils have been learning about the Easter story and have taken part in a range of engaging activities, including story sorting tasks to deepen their understanding.
The class also created beautiful Easter cards, thoughtfully reflecting the religious meaning of the season.
On Monday, we had great fun baking fifteens! All of the children worked carefully to mix their ingredients, following each step with fantastic listening skills and organisation.
Of course, the best part was sampling their delicious creations! Everyone was excited to share their treats with friends and family—it was a lovely experience.
Our class also put a tremendous effort into the Student Council’s egg rolling competition.
The designs were phenomenal, showing real creativity and care. Everyone had a fantastic day rolling their eggs and taking part in the sporting activities.
P6/7 pupils also helped lead the event, doing so with confidence and excellent guidance—well done!
Well done everyone on a great term. I hope you all have a peaceful and enjoyable Easter break.
