The Eco-Schools Committee met this week to discuss the aims for this term. The committee will carry out evaluations to monitor our progress in the three environmental areas and these evaluations will be shared on the Eco-Schools Display Board and during a whole school assembly.
We discussed ideas for the Eco-Code and these ideas were shared with the staff and pupils. An Eco-Code highlights the objectives and demonstrates the school's commitment to environmentally friendly actions. We are now delighted to share our new Eco Motto with you and this motto will be displayed in school.
The committee will also run an art competition this term and the theme of this competition will be to design and name an Eco-character to accompany our new code.
