Engineers of the Future in Primary Three!
Engineers of the Future in Primary Three!
Children in Primary Three continue to thoroughly enjoy Play-Based Learning, and this week we were especially impressed by the incredible constructions they created. The children showed great determination and dedication as they designed and built models that demonstrated movement, carefully thinking through how each part would work.
We particularly enjoyed exploring Oran’s fantastic structure of slides, which allowed a magnetic ball to travel smoothly down an obstacle course from the very top. Charlie’s Ferris wheel was equally impressive, with clear attention paid to its design and structure. Both models showed creativity, problem-solving skills and a real passion for engineering in action.
The materials the children are using were generously donated by parents last year and continue to be well loved by our current P3 class. If any families have old construction toys that could be recycled or donated to charity shops, these would be very gratefully received by the children in Primary Three, helping to inspire even more future engineers.
