Exploring the treasures of the Rainforestππ₯π π
The children in Primary 4/5 enjoyed an exciting and interactive lesson exploring the many resources we get from the rainforest.πͺπ§΄π₯ππ₯π
Each child wore a sign showing a rainforest product — from pineapples and chocolate to shampoo and chewing gum — and had to use their detective skills to work out what they were, relying only on yes or no questions.π΅οΈ
This challenged them to think carefully about the types of questions they asked and to listen closely to the answers.
The class learned just how important the rainforest is to our everyday lives, before sampling some real rainforest treats, including banana, avocado, mango, and chocolate. It was clear that some loved the new flavours while others weren't so sure! Mango was definitely the favourite, while avocado proved to be a bit more of a challenge!π
