Festive Activities in P6/7!
December has been an extremely busy and exciting month for our P6/7 pupils, filled with festive fun and memorable experiences.
The children truly embraced the Christmas spirit and took part in a wide range of enjoyable activities. One highlight was our annual trip to the Ritz Cinema. Pupils relaxed, enjoyed the movie and were delighted with their treats – a lovely experience for everyone.
In class, pupils demonstrated fantastic creativity while making and designing Christmas cards and festive logs. They particularly loved adding holly, snow spray and decorations to their logs. The finished pieces were outstanding and something to be very proud of.
On Wednesday, we had a very special visitor to our school. There was a real buzz of excitement as Santa arrived to visit the pupils. Each child received a selection box, and Santa even shared some important tips for Christmas Eve – especially the reminder to go to bed early!
Christmas Bingo Loco was another huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Our pupils worked alongside KS2 pupils who helped them mark their bingo books. There was lots of excitement, dancing and fantastic prizes. A big thank you to Mrs Brown for organising such a fun event.
We also took part in our annual Santa Run today. All the pupils looked amazing in their Christmas jumpers and loved participating in the sporting activities while moving along to the music.
Today we also enjoyed our Christmas class party.
It has been a very eventful month, and it has been wonderful to see everyone having so much fun and celebrating together.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a happy, safe and peaceful Christmas.
