RESPECT As we begin our school year, it is important that we set out our standards for respect from the beginning. Simple things like a smile, good eye contact or a “hello” can make a huge difference when forming relationships with new friends and helping others. Small gestures towards others show that you value them and will help to build respect. In the month of September we will be focusing on the Christian value - RESPECT. This is also one of our Key School values. As a whole school community, we will be discussing what RESPECT means and what it should look like within each classroom. We will be looking at: How we show respect for each other and adults in the school community. How children are encouraged to value and respect their own and other people’s belongings. How children are encouraged to show tolerance by accepting feelings, habits or beliefs, racial or ethnic origins that are different from their own. Irish Dancing Registration Term 1B Nov-Dec

Our Irish Dancing will resume in November, catering for boys and girls P1 –P7. Classes will be taken by Clodagh Quinn TCRG. Children who are already affiliated with an Irish dance class outside of school will not be able to attend this dancing school as they will be joining the Quinn School of Irish Dancing. There is no previous experience required to join this school. Pupils can wear their PE Kit, trainers or dancing shoes.

(Dancing shoes are not compulsory for beginners). 

The class will continue to be divided into two sessions  (Session 1  P1-P3 and Session 2  P4-P7)  taking place in the main school hall on a Wednesday afternoon. Children who are registered will be attending unless the school is contacted directly to inform them they will not be staying over that day. 

The cost of the Irish Dancing school will be £3 per session paid directly to the Irish Dancing Teacher.  Only children who pay may attend.

     The first session      1.45 – 2.45 pm   will be for children in P1 – P3.
     The second session  2.45 – 3.45 pm   will be for children in P4 – P7.

The class will start on Wednesday 27th for P1-P7 for a five week block up until Halloween.
Please collect your child promptly from the main gate after each session has finished. 

There will be no paper copy to register all pupils will need to register through the link below.
