Junior Entrepreneur Business Visit to Anaconda

22nd Apr 2026

Today, as part of our Junior Entrepreneur Programme, our class had the privilege of visiting Anaconda for a highly engaging and educational business tour. We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Hannah and Shane for organising such a fantastic experience for our pupils and for the continued support they give to us as a school.

Our visit began in the boardroom, where the children learned about the history of Anaconda and how the company has grown and developed over time. This was followed by an important health and safety talk, helping the pupils to understand the responsibilities and procedures involved in a real working environment. The children then took part in a quiz session, where they impressed everyone with their knowledge and enthusiasm — and were delighted to win prizes.

The pupils were then guided through each area of the business, where they were able to see the full journey of a product from start to finish. This hands‑on experience gave them a valuable insight into how ideas are turned into finished products and highlighted the teamwork, planning, and problem‑solving involved in running a successful business.

This visit brought our Junior Entrepreneur learning to life and was both inspiring and informative. We are extremely grateful to Anaconda, and especially to Hannah and Shane, not only for today’s visit but also for the continued support they show to our school and the positive contribution they make to our local community. It was a wonderful experience that our pupils will remember for a long time.
