🌿Life Under the Polytunnel🌿
Earlier in the year, the seeds that the children carefully planted have now been transformed into a thriving variety of plants in the polytunnel.
The Primary Three class enjoy visiting the polytunnel each week, where they eagerly observe and monitor the progress of their growing plants, noticing changes and celebrating new growth. These regular visits not only build excitement but also deepen their understanding of the natural world.
Growing plants plays an important role in a child’s development, as it encourages responsibility, patience, and curiosity. It also provides valuable hands-on learning opportunities, helping children develop observational skills, confidence, and an appreciation for nature and healthy living.
We can't wait to pick our vegetables and we are looking forward to cooking something special with our potatoes.
