Measuring in cm 📏

In Numeracy today, P4 participated in a range of activities to develop their skills in Measure and in particular measuring lengths in centimetres. The activities included:

📏 Estimating the length of a selection of objects in centimetres.

📏 Measuring the objects carefully with a ruler.

📏 Measuring body parts - head, wrist and ankle - using a tape measure

📏 Measuring round objects using tape measures

📏 Measure activities from Maths Box 1 and 2

The children all participated fully in the activities, worked really well with their partners and displayed some amazing estimating skills!! 👏👏😀
