A Fresh-Air Start to Our Week! πΏππΌ
Our Primary 2 pupils had a wonderful Monday morning back at school, making the most of the fresh air in our outdoor play area. Smiles were everywhere as the children jumped straight into busy, hands-on learning and play.
The pupils worked together to plant new flowers, carefully digging and patting the soil as they helped brighten our outdoor space. In the mud kitchen, there was lots of imaginative play as children mixed mud, water and natural materials to create some very interesting “concoctions”! Others showed great teamwork while building dens and towns, using their creativity to design cosy spaces and busy little communities.
Bug hunting was also a big hit, with children digging carefully to find insects to add to our bug hotel, learning about caring for living things along the way. To round off the morning, our music area came alive with children making up their own songs, sharing laughs and showing real confidence in their performances.
It was a joyful, active start to the week and a fantastic example of learning through play. Well done, Primary 2! πΌπΆπ
