Primary Three have been learning all about Money at Home!
As part of their Key Stage One learning, the children have explored the topic of money through a range of fun and practical activities.
They worked together in pairs to role-play shop scenarios, buying items and calculating amounts, which helped them develop essential problem-solving skills.
The class also searched online to complete an “online shop” for lunch snacks, giving them real-life experience of digital shopping and budgeting. Paired work has been a key focus, encouraging collaboration and discussion as they solved challenges together.
These activities not only build numeracy skills but also promote teamwork and confidence in handling money in everyday situations.
