Classroom assistants work long hours in classrooms across the UK. Their vital work to support children’s education has always deserved greater recognition. This is a way to show them our thanks.
This year’s theme is: ‘Read Together, Grow Together – CA’s Making Every Page Count’.
Today as part of National Classroom Assistant Day St Patrick’s took the opportunity to thank all our brilliant classroom assistants for everything that they do for all the children in the school. On behalf of all the teachers, pupils and parents thank you for everything! In our Friday Assembly we invited our CA’s in and spoke to the children about what we were celebrating and why.
To finish the morning off we had a visit from The Wee Hatch to serve a coffee and a few treats to all the staff.
