NSPCC Number Day – Dress Down & Maths Fun!
We are excited to share that our school will be taking part in NSPCC Number Day this year! To celebrate, we will be holding a special dress‑down day on Thursday 5th February. All children are invited to come to school in their own clothes, and we encourage everyone to wear something with a number on it—be as creative as you like!
Supporting a Great Cause
As part of the event, we are kindly asking all children to bring a small donation. Donations can be handed directly to their class teacher on Thursday morning, and all money raised will go straight to the NSPCC charity, supporting their vital work with children and families.
What’s Happening on the Day?
Pupils will take part in a fun-filled Teacher Swap Morning, where teachers will visit different classes to lead a variety of mental maths games and activities. It’s always a fantastic opportunity for children to enjoy maths in a lively and engaging way.
Celebration Assembly
We will round off the day with a whole‑school assembly, during which we will proudly present our first half‑termly Mathseeds and Mathletics certificates. We look forward to celebrating the wonderful achievements of our pupils.
Thank you for your support—we can’t wait to see everyone’s number-themed outfits and enjoy a day of learning, laughter, and numeracy, all while supporting a great cause!
