First Penance 2026
The Primary 4 group will receive their First Penance on Tuesday 10th of March at 10.30 am in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Mullinahoe.
The children will be brought by their teacher from school that morning directly after 10.00am mass. Children will wear their full school uniform as normal.
Any parents who wish to attend are very welcome to come along to mass at 10.00 am or arrive for the ceremony itself at 10.30 am. Parents and families can also access the parish webcam to watch the sacrament as it takes place live.
Towards the end of the ceremony the children will come forward to Fr Tremer and discuss the story they have prepared during their individual confession and absolution.
The children will return to class afterwards and will receive their individual certificates to mark this special occasion.
