Our Primary 6 pupils enjoyed a fun and engaging workshop on Algorithms by Mr McVeigh from Holy Trinity College.
With the perfect mix of learning, creativity and fun, the children had the opportunity to explore problem solving skills and essential concepts.
What is an Algorithm?
Algorithm means a set of rules or instructions to be followed to complete a task.
We discussed where we find instructions in everyday life and how this is related back to ICT.
The children enjoyed real life scenarios of following instructions through dancing, drawing and card games.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable session, thank you Mr McVeigh for taking the time out to visit our school.
