P7 Celebrate Ceremony of Light 🕯️
4th Feb 2026
Congratulations to our Primary 7 pupils who took their first steps towards receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation by participating in the Ceremony of Light yesterday in The Church Of The Blessed Sacrament.
The Ceremony of Light is a beautiful and meaningful ceremony that invites parents to renew their own faith and reflect on the gift they wish to pass on to their children. By lighting the light from the Paschal candle and sharing its flame, we symbolically hand on the light of Christ — a light of hope, love, and guidance. This gentle act reminds families that faith is something received, cherished, and shared from one generation to the next.

We extend our sincere thanks to Fr. Tremer for all his hard work, guidance, and dedication to our school and all the pupils. We are also grateful to all our readers on the day, each of whom did a wonderful job and added so much to the celebration.
With this special moment now behind us, we can look ahead with joy and anticipation as our pupils prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday the 8th of March. 🔥
