P3 Parents/Guardians,
From Tuesday 14th of April the Primary 3 children in Mrs Haycock’s class will stay for the full school day. (8.45 am – 2.45 pm)
At first the children will find this a big change to their normal routine, and you may notice they may come home from school slightly more tired than normal but within a short time they will soon become accustomed to this later finish time. We will try to ease the pupils into this new longer day and in the beginning we may have an additional break for them in the afternoon. For these first few weeks you could send in a second ‘snack’ for this time.
Children who have been granted a seat by the Education Authority may go home by bus, all other children are to be collected from the school at 2.45 pm.
