On Friday, our Primary 7 pupils hosted a fantastic bake sale to help raise money towards their end of year leavers’ hoodies, and what a success it was.
The children worked incredibly hard in preparing for the event. They helped organise the sale, set up the tables, served customers and managed the busy rush throughout the day. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and responsibility were wonderful to see, and they should be very proud of themselves.
We were overwhelmed by the amazing support from our families. A huge thank you to all the parents and children who spent time baking or donating treats for the sale, and to everyone who came along to buy something. There was an incredible variety of delicious goodies on offer, including cakes, pavlova, caramel brownies, caramel squares and many more sweet treats.
Thanks to your incredible generosity, the bake sale raised an amazing £1,280 — what a fantastic amount! This will go a long way in helping our Primary 7 pupils purchase their leavers’ hoodies as they prepare for the end of their primary school journey.
