Primary 7 visit Twinkle Playgroup
Today, the Primary 7 children visited the nursery children at Twinkle Playgroup for a lovely shared learning experience. During the visit, our pupils supported the younger children during play activities and enjoyed reading a range of storybooks together.
It was wonderful to see the Primary 7 pupils demonstrating kindness, patience and confidence as they took on a caring role, helping and encouraging the nursery children throughout the session. The younger children thoroughly enjoyed the interaction and were delighted to spend time listening to stories and playing alongside their older peers.
This visit provided a valuable opportunity for our pupils to develop leadership and communication skills, while also strengthening links between our school and Twinkle Playgroup. Sharing learning experiences such as this helps to build positive relationships within our local community.
Many thanks to Twinkle Playgroup for inviting us down and for making the visit such an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone involved.
