Primary Three’s Creative Journey with George’s Marvellous Medicine
The children in Primary Three are continuing to enjoy reading George’s Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl. This week, they’ve been exploring the book’s illustrations and discussing how pictures can bring a story to life by helping readers imagine scenes more vividly and understand the characters better.
To celebrate their creativity, we held a class competition where each child designed their own illustration of a scene from the novel. I was delighted to see such a variety of colourful and thoughtful artwork.
Congratulations to Paige, who won the competition and she was thrilled to receive her prize!
A big thank you to all the children for their continued enthusiasm and hard work in Primary Three — keep it up!
I am super proud of you!
