To celebrate Safer Internet day, our Digital Leaders led a special whole-school assembly to help everyone learn how to stay safe and kind online.
They talked about important things such as keeping personal information private, being respectful when using the internet, and of our school safeguarding team who they can speak to should something online make you feel worried or upset.
A key focus this year was AI awareness, helping students understand what artificial intelligence is, how it is used in everyday life, and why it is important to use AI tools safely and responsibly.
The Digital Leaders used child-friendly examples to help everyone understand how to make good choices in protecting our personal information when using games, apps, and websites.
The assembly was fun, clear, and very helpful. We are proud of our Digital Leaders for taking responsibility and helping our school community learn how to use the internet safely and wisely. Well done boys & girls!
