RESPECT As we begin our school year, it is important that we set out our standards for respect from the beginning. Simple things like a smile, good eye contact or a “hello” can make a huge difference when forming relationships with new friends and helping others. Small gestures towards others show that you value them and will help to build respect. In the month of September we will be focusing on the Christian value - RESPECT. This is also one of our Key School values. As a whole school community, we will be discussing what RESPECT means and what it should look like within each classroom. We will be looking at: How we show respect for each other and adults in the school community. How children are encouraged to value and respect their own and other people’s belongings. How children are encouraged to show tolerance by accepting feelings, habits or beliefs, racial or ethnic origins that are different from their own. What patience, kindness and good manners should look like in our classroom.   [Open Document] | ☕ Coffee Morning ☕ - Friends Of Mullinahoe - Coffee Morning on Sunday 28th of September from 12.00 - 2.00 pm in the Ardboe Community Centre. Season of Creation 🌍☀️

17th Sep 2024

The Season of Creation is marked throughout the Christian world from 1 September to 4 October (Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi) and celebrates the joy of creation as well as encouraging awareness-raising initiatives to protect the natural environment.

Fr. Tremer asked the P4 children to help decorate the special tree in the chapel with drawings and pictures of animals found in Ireland to help celebrate and acknowledge this special season.

P4 attended mass this morning and enjoyed hanging their pictures and drawings on the tree with Fr. Tremer and all the other classes.

Creation Prayer for Children 🙏

Loving Father we praise you:

For the beautiful sun,

For the rain which makes things grow,

For the trees and the fields,

For the sea and the sky,

For the flowers, the animals and the birds,

And for your gifts to us.

Everything around us sings with joy.

With all you made we sing for joy too!

Amen.
