RESPECT As we begin our school year, it is important that we set out our standards for respect from the beginning. Simple things like a smile, good eye contact or a “hello” can make a huge difference when forming relationships with new friends and helping others. Small gestures towards others show that you value them and will help to build respect. In the month of September we will be focusing on the Christian value - RESPECT. This is also one of our Key School values. As a whole school community, we will be discussing what RESPECT means and what it should look like within each classroom. We will be looking at: How we show respect for each other and adults in the school community. How children are encouraged to value and respect their own and other people’s belongings. How children are encouraged to show tolerance by accepting feelings, habits or beliefs, racial or ethnic origins that are different from their own. What patience, kindness and good manners should look like in our classroom.   [Open Document] | β˜• Coffee Morning β˜• - Friends Of Mullinahoe - Coffee Morning on Sunday 28th of September from 12.00 - 2.00 pm in the Ardboe Community Centre. 18th May 2025

What a very busy few weeks our boys and girls have had with primary school football and Camogie blitzes. Thanks to Holy Family, Moortown, St Trea’s, Derrychrin, Edendork and Roan PS for the invites to their various competitions. πŸ†

This has been the first year in a number of years that we have had a Camogie team in the CnmB Camogie finals and our girls did us proud. With Camogie continuing in a Friday after school hopefully we can encourage even more girls to take part. πŸ‘

Our girls, in football and Camogie, were very competitive in all their competitions and while they didn’t lift any silverware they managed to make two semi finals and a final. Hopefully in the remaining competitions this year they can go one step further. 🏐

Our boys deserve great credit for their performances lifting silverware in three of their last four competitions. Playing some brilliant football fast, skilful and very direct. They continue to give 100% in all their competitions even when they had to  play in back to back competitions in that serious heat. πŸ˜₯

We have high expectations of the children who represent the school at these competitions and they all showed great sportsmanship and a brilliant attitude both on and off the pitch. While winning is great the way they have performed has been even better. They have been great to watch. Hopefully this will continue in the remaining tournaments. πŸ‘πŸΌ

Finally thank you to all the parents who have supported us, made last minute arrangements to make sure children could take part and for having them prepared for the days out. Also thank you to the parents who have helped us taxi children to different events. πŸ™
