RESPECT As we begin our school year, it is important that we set out our standards for respect from the beginning. Simple things like a smile, good eye contact or a “hello” can make a huge difference when forming relationships with new friends and helping others. Small gestures towards others show that you value them and will help to build respect. In the month of September we will be focusing on the Christian value - RESPECT. This is also one of our Key School values. As a whole school community, we will be discussing what RESPECT means and what it should look like within each classroom. We will be looking at: How we show respect for each other and adults in the school community. How children are encouraged to value and respect their own and other people’s belongings. How children are encouraged to show tolerance by accepting feelings, habits or beliefs, racial or ethnic origins that are different from their own. What patience, kindness and good manners should look like in our classroom.   [Open Document] | ☕ Coffee Morning ☕ - Friends Of Mullinahoe - Coffee Morning on Sunday 28th of September from 12.00 - 2.00 pm in the Ardboe Community Centre. St. Bridget's Crosses - Grandparents Invite

29th Jan 2024

Following up on our Catholic Schools Week last week, St Patrick's Mullinahoe would like to invite our grandparents into the school on Wednesday 31st of January. We are hoping our grandparents will join us for a cup of tea or coffee and help our classes to make their own St Bridget's Crosses that we can get blessed on the 1st of February.

We will set up tables with rushes in the main hall from 10.00 am to 11.30 am and bring our classed down one by one (depending on time) to learn how to make a St Bridget's Cross.

We hope to have some rushes in the school, but would appreciate if parents had access to some more they would kindly send them in that morning with their child/children. If there are any parents who also were able to help on Tuesday morning, between 10.00 and 11.30 am, their support would be greatly appreciated.

To assist with numbers we would appreciate if you could click the link below and give us of the names of any grandparents or parents that may be able to help out and write them below.
