Take 5 HomeworkππΏ
This week, our children took part in Take 5 homework, where they were encouraged to choose any three of the five Steps to Wellbeing to complete at home. The children had the freedom to decide which steps they wanted to try and how they would carry them out, helping them take ownership of their own wellbeing.β
We loved seeing how the children got involved in activities such as being active, connecting with family and friends, learning new skills, giving to others, and taking notice of the world around them. Children shared photos of their chosen activities with their teacher, showing anything from outdoor play and family time to helping at home, practicing new hobbies and enjoying moments of calm.ππ
This homework helped children understand that looking after their mental health can be fun, simple and part of everyday life. It also allowed them to celebrate small achievements and reflect on how different activities make them feel. The enthusiasm and creativity shown by the children was fantastic, and it was clear they were proud to share their experiences.π
Thank you to all families for supporting the children with this meaningful homework task and helping us promote positive wellbeing habits both in school and at home.π€©βπ
