NSPCC Number Day – A Fantastic Success!
There was a real buzz of excitement in school this morning as children arrived dressed down and proudly wearing numbers of all shapes and sizes. The day began with great anticipation as everyone waited to see which teacher would walk through the door for our much‑loved Teacher Swap. Laughter and surprise filled the classrooms as staff and pupils found themselves working with new faces for the morning.
Throughout the day, the children took part with tremendous enthusiasm in a wide range of mental maths challenges. Teachers thoroughly enjoyed the chance to teach different classes and see the children’s confidence and problem‑solving skills shine.
Our whole‑school assembly was a wonderful celebration of learning, where we awarded our very first Mathseed and Matheletics certificates. A huge congratulations to all our award winners - pictures to follow!
Most importantly, thanks to the generosity of our families, we raised an incredible £662 for the NSPCC. This donation will help support the charity’s vital work in keeping children safe.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make Number Day such a meaningful and memorable event!
