Today, the children in Primary Three went on their end of year trip and what an amazing day we had together!
We began the day with a visit to Springhill House to see how families lived long ago! It was a wonderful learning experience for the children and they enjoyed every minute of their visit to this beautiful National Trust Building. They had time to enjoy the gardens which are bursting with a variety of flowers and the different scents just fill the air. Afterwards, the children explored the inside of the house and we would like to thank our tour guides for making this trip so memorable.
All the fresh air made everyone so hungry and a stop to McDonald’s was just the perfect place to enjoy a very welcome lunch. The Manager in McDonald’s was so impressed with how the children behaved and how they ordered their own food. As a reward, she provided every child with a free ice cream and we would like to thank the staff in Mc Donald’s for their kindness.
We were able to squeeze in a surprise visit to Toymaster and the children managed their budgets to purchase a small gift. Again the staff were so impressed with the children and they decided to give everyone a free Lego gift! The children were delighted and it was a lovely end to a perfect day out!
I would like to thank Anne-Marie and Miss McKeown for their help today, they took great care of the children and they made the trip memorable for P3!
Lastly, I would like to thank the children for being AMAZING today! I am so proud of you all and it was the best trip ever!
