This week Primary 2 have been enjoying activities based around the story of ‘The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch’.
The boys and girls enjoyed making and eating jam sandwiches. They made a list of all the ingredients and equipment they used and as a class we wrote simple instructions using language such as first, next, then and finally.
Like the character Mrs Grinling all the children in Primary 2 had to come up with their own ‘disgusting sandwich’ to keep the seagulls away.
We also created some beautiful artwork of the Lighthouse on the cliffs. ✍️ 🖍️
