This week in Literacy, P4 have been learning all about following and writing Instructions. Today, we explored how instructions are needed to be able to play games. The children got the chance to learn how to play two new games.
Achi Achi is a game for 2 players played by children in Ghana. The aim of this game is to get three counters in a line.
Nine Men’s Morris Nine Men’s Morris is a very old game for 2 players. The aim of the game is to get 3 counters in a row.
The children really enjoyed learning and playing these two simple games and there wasn’t a screen in sight!
