Reminder - P7 Cake and Bun Sale Primary 7 ‘Cake and Bun Sale’ on Friday 24^th April 2026. Open to all classes P1 to P7. Child brings in money they will get the opportunity to pick a few things they like. They can then have if for their break or if they bring in a box they can take it home. Sale open to parents and grandparents and other family members in the morning, 8.45 to 9.20 am.Adults can then call into the school hall and buy a selection of sweet treats to take home with them. This week in Literacy, P4 have been learning all about following and writing Instructions. Today, we explored how instructions are needed to be able to play games. The children got the chance to learn how to play two new games.

Achi
Achi is a game for 2 players played by children in Ghana. The aim of this game is to get three counters in a line.

Nine Men’s Morris
Nine Men’s Morris is a very old game for 2 players. The aim of the game is to get 3 counters in a row.

The children really enjoyed learning and playing these two simple games and there wasn’t a screen in sight!
